Because of the great success of the first European Theatre Night in Austria, this special event will take place here this year again. Like in 2011 when the project has been started, more than 20 theatres in different cities throughout the whole country will therefore offer a various number of performances, shows, plays for children, discussions and public rehearsals to celebrate the performing arts together.
The Austrian artists are looking forward to be once more participators of this special event, which lead more than 3000 visitors in the different theatres the last time. The realisation of this event in Austria is possible due to the efforts of the IG Kultur Österreich and the IG Freie Theaterarbeit, which founded the association “Europäische Theaternacht”.
We are very glad, that the project is constantly growing and hope that within the upcoming Theatre Nights it will take place everywhere in Europa . We see one big aim in make connections and exchanges of performances throughout the whole continent.
